Sheriff Webre Seeking Information on Raceland Burglary

Lafourche Parish Sheriff Craig Webre is asking for the public’s help to solve a burglary that occurred at a Raceland residence sometime between Saturday, November 19 and Monday, November 21.

At approximately 5:00 P.M. Monday evening, deputies were called to 690 St. Louis Street in Raceland in reference to a possible burglary after a relative noticed an open window. Through investigation, detectives determined that entry was made by a rock being thrown through a window. Once inside, the suspect(s) went through all the drawers in the bedrooms and throughout the residence, but the only items that have been reported missing are a 37-inch flat screen television, a .22 caliber rifle, and a woman’s wrist watch. Coins from a child’s bank were also reported missing.

Callers can remain anonymous and could be eligible for a reward up to $1,000.00 in cash if the information given leads to an arrest.
