Around 6:30 P.M. on Sunday, deputies responded to a disturbance on Sharnell Drive in Bayou Blue. Upon arrival, deputies made contact with a female resident that had been injured during the disturbance and was being transported by ambulance to a local hospital. Through investigation, deputies determined that Tommie Terrebonne (W/M, D.O.B. 07/23/62) of 318 Crochetville Road in Montegut had arrived earlier that day at the home and informed the woman that she and her husband were being evicted. Upon hearing this news, the woman retreated to a bedroom to search for the lease, unaware that Terrebonne had followed her inside. Upon realizing Terrebonne was inside the residence, the woman told him to get out. A brief argument ensued and Terrebonne pushed the woman causing pain to her abdominal area. It was later determined that a wound from the womans recent surgery had reopened due to Terrebonne pushing her. During the brief argument, another woman, who had been visiting the residents, emerged from a bathroom. When she questioned Terrebonne about his presence there, Terrebonne pushed her as well. Meanwhile, the injured womans husband had been behind the residence and was unaware of Terrebonnes presence until he saw him leave the house. He approached Terrebonne asking why he was there, and Terrebonne subsequently punched him with a closed fist, striking him in the face. Upon deputies learning that Terrebonne did not have written authorization to enter the premises, he was arrested and transported to the Lafourche Parish Detention Center where he was booked on three counts of Simple Battery and Unauthorized Entry of an Inhabited Dwelling. He remains there in lieu of $2,750.00.
While on patrol in the Raceland area, at around 3:15 P.M. on Sunday afternoon, a deputy observed a vehicle on Easy Street with a passenger not wearing a seat belt. The deputy conducted a traffic stop with the vehicle, made contact with the passenger, and identified him as Hilton Lee of 249 Brocato Lane in Raceland. The deputy issued him a warning and then made contact with the driver, Calvin Bradley (B/M, D.O.B. 08/12/68) of 351 Danos Street in Raceland who provided only an I.D. card, but no drivers license. The deputy detected a strong odor of alcohol on Badleys breath. The deputy was also able to determine that Bardleys license had been suspended for a previous DWI and he had two active warrants for Contempt of Court (Resisting an Officer and DWI). The deputy then conducted a field sobriety test, which Bradley could not complete. The deputy then placed Bradley under arrest and transported him to the Detention Center where he submitted to a breathalyzer test, and the results showed Bradley had a blood alcohol content of .221g%. Bradley was booked on the two Contempt of Court charges for which he has been ordered to pay fines and costs of $1,351.00. He was also booked with Operating a Vehicle under Suspension and DWI (2nd Offense) and is being held in lieu of $7,000.00 bond on those charges.
