Suspect Sought in Attempted Burglary of Thibodaux Sewer Plant

Lafourche Parish Sheriff Craig Webre announced a reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest of the person or persons involved in an attempted burglary at the Thibodaux Sewer Plant facility at 198 J. David Bergeron Road. The incident was reported on the morning of Monday, April 16.

Through investigation, detectives learned the perpetrator removed or attempted to remove several window screens from one of the buildings. Then, the perpetrator did the same to another building before breaking one of the windows in an attempt to gain access to that building. Detectives also learned the fence around the facility had been cut at some point last week in an attempt to gain entry. Detectives do not believe the subjects were able to gain entry into any of the buildings and no items have been reported missing at this time.
