PERCY HILL:
On the night of June 27, 2012, deputies were dispatched to a residence on E. 22nd Street in Larose in reference to a battery. Upon arrival, deputies noticed the male victim laying in the front yard of the residence with a woman holding a towel to the man’s head. The woman was the victim’s daughter, and deputies learned that the man had been struck in the head by some sort of metal object. An ambulance arrived on scene, and eventually transported the victim to an area hospital. Through investigation, deputies learned Percy Hill (B/M, D.O.B. 06/30/69) of 466 St. Phillip Street in Raceland was at the residence when the victim showed up and asked him to leave. An argument ensued, and the two men began fighting. During the altercation, Hill struck the victim in the head with an unknown metal object. Hill then fled the scene. Following the investigation, a warrant was issued for Hill’s arrest. Then, on September 12, deputies learned Hill was located at his residence. Deputies arrived on scene and arrested Hill without incident. He was transported to the Lafourche Parish Detention Center in Thibodaux where he was booked on the aforementioned warrant as well as a warrant for second degree kidnapping from the City of Thibodaux. He is currently being held in lieu of $65,000 bond as set by the warrants.
