Lafourche Parish Sheriff Craig Webre and Golden Meadow Police Chief Reggie Pitre announced five people were arrested as a result of a Lafourche Parish Drug Task Force operation in Golden Meadow on Tuesday, November 13. Daffney Kiger (W/F, D.O.B. 02/07/75) of 505C North Bayou Drive, Larone Gray (B/M, D.O.B. 09/27/74) of 506 St. Charles Bypass Road in Thibodaux, and Damoz Folse (B/M, D.O.B. 05/18/93) of 170 Triple Oaks Drive in Raceland were all arrested as a result of the operation. Additionally, two Raceland men, Javon Folse (B/M, D.O.B. 05/11/87) of 488 Ayo Street and Billy Coleman (B/M, D.O.B. 11/14/81) of 319 St. Louis Street, were also arrested after a traffic stop related to the operation.
On Tuesday evening, task force agents were conducting surveillance on Kigers Golden Meadow residence due to having active warrants for her arrest when they noticed a vehicle leave the home. Agents recognized the driver as Billy Coleman who had an active warrant for distribution of crack cocaine. When agents initiated a traffic stop on the vehicle, Coleman stopped the vehicle and fled on foot. He was apprehended shortly thereafter. The passenger, Javon Folse, was found to have warrants for domestic abuse battery involving strangulation, domestic abuse with child endangerment, home invasion, and contempt of court. Both were transported to the Lafourche Parish Detention Center and booked accordingly. Coleman was also booked with resisting an officer and no drivers license, and he was released Tuesday night after posting $10,150 bond. Javon Folse is currently being held in lieu of $6,000 bond, as well as $778.50 in fines and costs, and he is also being held for the Louisiana Department of Probation and Parole.
Back at the residence, agents were joined by members of the Golden Meadow Police Department. They made contact with Kiger at the residence and she was arrested on warrants for distribution of crack cocaine and illegal use of controlled dangerous substances in the presence of persons under 17. Two men, later identified as Larone Gray and Damoz Folse, and a juvenile were also at the residence. During a search of the residence, agents discovered a bag containing 8.4 gross grams of suspected heroin, two bags containing a total of 4.2 gross grams of suspected marijuana, a partially smoked cigar containing suspected marijuana, 12 suspected Valium (diazepam) pills, various prescription drugs, and various drug paraphernalia.
Kiger, Gray and Damoz Folse were each charged with possession with the intent to distribute heroin, possession of marijuana (2nd offense for Folse and Gray, 1st offense for Kiger), possession of Valium, and illegal use of controlled dangerous substance in the presence of persons under the age of 17. They were all transported to the Detention Center. Kiger was also booked with maintaining a structure for narcotics use and as per the aforementioned warrants. She is being held in lieu of $98,000 bond. Gray was additionally booked with three counts of possession of a legend drug and is being held in lieu of $87,000 bond. Damoz Folse was additionally booked with resisting an officer and is being held in lieu of $73,500 bond.
