Suspects Sought in Larose Quarter Barge Burglary

Lafourche Parish Sheriff Craig Webre announced a reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest of the person or persons responsible for burglarizing a quarter barge last week in Larose. The barge was docked in Bayou Lafourche alongside LA Highway 308 near East 11th Street.

The burglary was reported on Monday, November 26 when the owners first noticed damage to a door and window. A laptop and a safety fire axe were stolen in the burglary, and several items were damaged including a large-screen, high-definition television, a large life raft, and several fire detectors.
