Vehicles Stolen in St. John Parish, Abandoned in Raceland

Lafourche Parish Sheriff Craig Webre announced a reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest of the person or persons responsible for stealing two vehicles from St. John Parish and abandoning the vehicles in a field in Raceland.

Last week, on the night of Tuesday, March 12, deputies responded to William Street in Raceland of suspicious vehicles left parked in a field. Witnesses stated the vehicles traveling in the area on Saturday night and were later discovered in the field. Deputies discovered a blue Ford Mustang and a silver Dodge Ram pickup truck bearing no license plates with coverings over the Vehicle Identification Numbers. The truck was parked on a trailer which was also reported stolen. Through investigation, deputies learned the vehicles were reported stolen out of LaPlace and were later towed to the St. John the Baptist Parish Sheriff’s Office.

Tipsters can remain anonymous and could be eligible for a reward up to $1,000.00 in cash if the information given leads to an arrest.
