Detectives Seeking Suspects in Larose Restaurant Burglary

Lafourche Parish Sheriff Craig Webre announced a reward is being offered for information on a burglary which occurred last month at a Larose restaurant. Detectives are searching for three suspects who stole a bag containing cash, checks and receipts.

Through investigation, detectives learned that at approximately 2:20 a.m. on Wednesday, March 27, three subjects forced open the rear door of The Balcony restaurant located at 13550 Highway 1 in Larose. After entering the restaurant, the subjects made forced entry into an office and took a bag containing cash.

All three subjects appeared to wearing hooded sweatshirts, and a portion of each subject’s’ face was covered, making it difficult to obtain a positive identification thus far. One of the subjects appeared to be wearing a shirt with the number “86” on the back, and the backpack used in the burglary appeared to be a red and black “Jordan” brand backpack.

Detectives are continuing their investigation and are now asking for the public’s help to solve this case. Tipsters can remain anonymous and could be eligible for a reward up to $1,000.00 in cash if the information given leads to an arrest.
