Public Asked to Help Identify Department Store Thieves

Lafourche Parish Sheriff Craig Webre is asking for the public’s help to identify two suspects who stole items from a Raceland department store earlier this month.

At around 8 p.m. on Monday, April 1, two subjects arrived at the Walmart Supercenter store in Raceland in a white sport-utility vehicle. The suspects entered the store, stole several items and fled the scene in the SUV. Surveillance cameras captured images of the two male subjects.

Investigators are asking anyone who can help identify these subjects to contact Bayou Region Crime Stoppers at 1-800-743-7433 or by texting “GIVEATIP” plus your message to 274637. Tipsters can remain anonymous and could be eligible for a reward up to $1,000.00 in cash if the information given leads to an arrest. Tips can also be submitted using the TipSubmit Mobile application, online at www.crimestoppersbr.org, or via the “Submit a Tip” tab on the Lafourche Parish Sheriff’s Office official Facebook Page.
