Detectives Investigating Aggravated Burglary in Bayou Blue

Lafourche Parish Sheriff Craig Webre announced a reward is being offered for information regarding an aggravated burglary in Bayou Blue over the weekend.

During the early morning hours of Saturday, June 21, deputies responded to a residence in the 100 block of Lady Bug Lane in Bayou Blue after receiving a call that one or more unknown subjects were inside the home. Upon arrival, deputies discovered the residents were safely hiding inside the home, but the unknown subjects had fled the scene. Detectives also responded and discovered the front door had been kicked in, the breaker box had been turned off, and no items had been taken. They also learned two shots had been fired into the floor prior to the subjects fleeing the residence.

Detectives obtained video from surveillance cameras outside the residence which showed what appears to be three male subjects arrive at the residence and proceed to an electrical box outside the home.
