Deputies Seeking Suspect in Hit-and-Run in Thibodaux

Lafourche Parish Sheriff Craig Webre announced a reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest of the person or persons responsible for leaving the scene of a collision at a truck stop in Thibodaux.

At around 5:20 a.m. on Tuesday, January 27, deputies responded to a hit-and-run complaint at the Wag-A-Pak Truck Stop and Casino at 1818 Highway 3187 in Thibodaux. Upon arrival, deputies learned an unknown black male driving a pickup truck allegedly struck another vehicle while driving in reverse. The collision left a large dent and scratches in the other vehicle. The man made contact with the owner of the vehicle he struck, but fled the scene when the owner called the Sheriff’s Office. At the time of the incident, the male subject was wearing black clothing with red shoes and was driving a gray pickup truck.
