Public’s Help Sought in Farm Equipment Vandalization Case

Lafourche Parish Sheriff Craig Webre announced a reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest of the person or persons responsible for vandalizing farm equipment in the Thibodaux area.

Last week, deputies responded to Gravois Farms on Abby Road in Thibodaux after receiving a report that a tractor had been vandalized wherein a window was shattered. . Deputies discovered the incident occurred at some point between 3 p.m. on Tuesday, February 17 and 7 a.m. on Wednesday, February 18. The farm owner reported a second similar incident also occurred that week.

Investigators are asking for help in solving this crime. Anyone with information on this case is asked to contact Crime Stoppers Bayou Region at 1-800-743-7433 or by texting “GIVEATIP” plus your message to 274637.
