Sheriff Craig Webre announced the arrest of Jason Guidroz (age 44) of Schriever on Monday, October 26. At around 10:35 a.m. on Monday morning, deputies responded to a residence on Winder Road in Thibodaux after learning Jason Guidroz was present at the residence. Guidroz had several active warrants for his arrest as well as a protective order preventing him from being at the residence. Upon arrival, deputies formed a perimeter around the residence, and began calling for Guidroz to exit. After additional deputies and additional Thibodaux Police officers arrived on scene, Guidroz exited the residence and was taken into custody without further incident. He was transported to the Lafourche Parish Detention Center in Thibodaux where he was booked with Violation of a Protective Order. He was also booked on charges stemming from previous incidents including Domestic Abuse Battery, Aggravated Assault with a Motor Vehicle upon a Peace Officer, Resisting an Officer with Force or Violence, Home Invasion, Felony Theft, Unauthorized Entry of an Inhabited Dwelling, Contempt of Court, and four additional warrants for Violation of Protective Orders.
