Terrebonne Parish Fugitive Arrested in Raceland with Narcotics in His Possession

Sheriff Craig Webre announced the arrest of Donaldnika Morris (age 28) of Raceland on Friday, March 11. At around 6 p.m., deputies traveling along St. Philip Street in Raceland observed Donaldnika Morris (age 28) of Raceland standing near a vehicle parked on the street. Knowing Morris to have active warrants for his arrest out of Terrebonne Parish, deputies made contact with him and placed him under arrest. Morris was found to have suspected illegal narcotics in his possession, including several pieces of crack cocaine, a small bag of marijuana, and several hydrocodone pills. Morris was transported to the Lafourche Parish Detention Center in Thibodaux and booked with Possession with Intent to Distribute Crack Cocaine and Hyrdocodone, as well as Possession of Marijuana (2nd Offense). His bond is set at $153,500, but he is also being held for Terrebonne Parish due to warrants for Theft of a Motor Vehicle, Criminal Trespassing, Hit and Run, and Simple Criminal Damage to Property.
