Sheriff Craig Webre announced three suspects are in custody following a shooting in Larose Tuesday evening. Deputies responded to a call of a shooting  in the North Larose just before 8 p.m. on Tuesday, May 10. A male victim who had been shot was airlifted to a New Orleans hospital. Deputies located the suspects traveling along LA Highway 308 in the Lockport area and attempted to initiate a traffic stop. The suspects refused to stop and continued into the Raceland area, and eventually stopped in the Bayou Blue area. Three suspects were taken into custody and are being questioned in relation to the incident. We will have more information as it can be made available in the ongoing investigation.
