Thibodaux Man Arrested for Robbing Trailer Park Manager

Sheriff Craig Webre announced the arrest of Drake Credeur (age 20) of Thibodaux for robbing a manager of the trailer park in which he lives. Just after 10:30 a.m. on Monday, May 16, deputies responded to a Thibodaux trailer park and learned Credeur had stolen a wallet. Deputies learned a manager of the trailer park was traveling in his vehicle when Credeur flagged him down, advising of a water leak at a nearby trailer. They proceeded to the trailer, and the manager was sitting inside his vehicle as his employees checked on the leak. At one point, Credeur entered the passenger side of the manager’s vehicle and began having a conversation with the manager. During the conversation, Credeur quickly reached into the man’s front pocket, removed the man’s wallet, and fled the scene on foot. The wallet contained several items including cash and a credit card. Deputies attempted to locate Credeur but were unable to locate him at that time. A warrant was then issued for his arrest. Three days later, additional warrants were issued for Contempt of Court in reference to traffic violations. Credeur was taken into custody in Plaquemines Parish and transported to the Lafourche Parish Detention Center on Monday, May 23. He was booked on outstanding warrants for Simple Robbery and two counts of Contempt of Court. His bond is set at $52,000.
