Detectives Seek to Identify Suspect in Thibodaux Vehicle Burglaries

Sheriff Craig Webre announced a reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest of the person or persons responsible for a series of vehicle burglaries in the Thibodaux area. On Monday, October 3, detectives responded to the area of Camelia Drive in Thibodaux and discovered several vehicles had been burglarized on that street, as well as others on nearby streets. At least six vehicles were burglarized, but the investigation is still underway. A security camera captured footage of one suspect committing a burglary. As detectives continue the investigation, they are asking for anyone who can identify the suspect, or anyone that has any information on these crimes, to contact Crime Stoppers Bayou Region at 1-800-743-7433 or by texting “GIVEATIP” plus your message to 274637.
