UPDATE: Investigators Discover Video of Second Suspect in Thibodaux Vehicle Burglaries

Sheriff Craig Webre said investigators have discovered video evidence of a second suspect who burglarized vehicles in the Thibodaux area this week. On Monday, October 3, detectives responded to the area of Camelia Drive in Thibodaux and discovered several vehicles had been burglarized on that street, as well as others on nearby streets. Detectives have determined the suspects burglarized at least eight vehicles in the area, and attempted to burglarize several others. Detectives discovered video of one suspect which was released to the public on Monday. Through their investigation, they have discovered another video showing a second suspect burglarizing a vehicle, as well as the suspect from the video which was initially released.

As detectives continue their investigation, they are asking anyone who can identify these suspects to contact Crime Stoppers Bayou Region at 1-800-743-7433 or by texting “GIVEATIP” plus your message to 274637. Tipsters will remain anonymous and could be eligible for a reward up to $1,000 in cash if the information given leads to an arrest.
