Information Sought on Raceland Residential Burglary

Lafourche Parish Sheriff Craig Webre announced a reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest of the person or persons responsible for a burglary of a Raceland residence last week.

At 10:30 p.m. on Wednesday, November 22, deputies responded to a residence in the 600 block of Dantin Street in Raceland in reference to a burglary of a residence. Deputies made contact with the residents who reportedly had left the residence four hours prior and returned to find the home had been burglarized. The rear door to the residence was found ajar, and several items had been stolen, including a flat-screen television, two laptop computers, a tablet computer, two gaming consoles, and several other valuable items.

Detectives are asking for the public’s assistance to solve this case. Anyone who may have information on this crime is asked to submit a tip anonymously through Crime Stoppers Bayou Region by phone at 1-800-743-7433 or online at www.crimestoppersbr.org. Tips can also be submitted using the P3 Tips app on your mobile device. Tipsters could be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000 in cash if the information leads to an arrest.
