Suspect Sought in Theft of Golf Cart Tires

Lafourche Parish Sheriff Craig Webre announced a reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest of a suspect wanted in reference to the theft of golf cart tires in Raceland.

On July 5, 2018, deputies responded to a complaint along LA Highway 1 in Raceland. The resident, who also owns a custom golf cart company, reported a male suspect was captured on camera removing golf cart tires and walking toward the street. Ten tires were later recovered at the roadside.

Deputies seek to identify the suspect in reference to trespassing, property damage, and theft. Anyone who may be able to identify the suspect is asked to submit a tip anonymously through Crime Stoppers Bayou Region by phone at 1-800-743-7433 or online at www.crimestoppersbr.org. Tips can also be submitted using the P3 Tips app on your mobile device. Tipsters could be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000 in cash if the information leads to an arrest.
