Judicial Services

The Judicial Services Division assists with multiple aspects of the judicial system including courthouse security, process servers, public records, warrants, fines and bonds, tax collection, tax sales, seized property, wage garnishments, community service, misdemeanor probation.  Our Police Social Services Section provides an unprecedented level of service to victims and the elderly, and The P.A.C.T. Place is one of the only law-enforcement-run supervised visitation and monitored exchange centers in the country. The Division also features LPSO’s unique Pre-trial Home Incarceration Program and the Sex Offender Accountability Program.

Information Technology

The I.T. staff is responsible for maintaining our vast array of computers and telecommunications equipment, including the desktop computers, laptop computers, in-car computers, servers, and software that make up the LPSO Computer network. This includes approximately 350 workstations and 30 servers at various locations throughout the parish. They are constantly evaluating the latest in cutting-edge technology for implementation at the agency. The staff also administers to the software which includes Computer-Aided Dispatch, Records Management, Jail Management, Civil Process Tracking, Agency Administration, Reporting, and much more. Lafourche Parish is one of the ONLY areas of the country to have all area law enforcement using a single system to share information, which is valuable in investigations.
