Introduction
– Sheriff Webre’s Summer Camp provides a fun
summer activity to deserving youths throughout
Lafourche Parish. The campers leave on a Monday
morning and return on Friday. During the week, the
campers participate in many different activities
including sports events, dances, camp fear factor,
movie night, and swimming. The campers are divided
into teams of 7 campers with an advisor. Adult
advisors are deputies with the Lafourche Parish
Sheriff's Office whose job is to interact with young
people. Most of these deputies are D.A.R.E.
Officers or School Resource Officers. The LPSO
Explorer POST 323 also assists as Advisors.
