Rape Aggression Defense Kids (RAD Kids) – The objective of RAD Kids is to provide educational opportunities for children and parents, concerning awareness and self defense strategies, instilling confidence and reducing the possibility of adverse physical control and/or harm. Contact: Sgt. Child Fingerprints – The Sheriff’s Office welcomes requests from schools, hospitals, stores, clubs (like Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts), Churches, organizations or any other group that would like the Explorers to provide this free service to the public.  Organizations or businesses wanting this service can contact Lt. Day to make a request and schedule a date and time.  We do not charge for this service, but donations to be used for Explorer expenses, attendance at National Conference and fun days are always welcome. Child I.D. Program – This program currently consists of taking fingerprints and a DNA swab of each child.  This is done on a Lafourche Parish Sheriff's Office Child I.D. form which is then given to the parents of that child for safe keeping. Contact Lt. Day at 985-532-4320 or email.
