The following are the guidelines regarding inmate visitation at the Lafourche Parish Detention Center.
A Visitor's name must appear on the visitation list for that inmate. All visitors must have valid identification and must be at least 17 years old, or have proper approval. No children are allowed in the jail during normal visitation hours unless authorized by the Warden or his designee.
Visitors must comply with a dress code that includes no short skirts or shorts, no sleeveless shirts/blouses, no tank tops, no low-cut blouses, no pants below the waist, and no see-through clothing.
Inmate visitation occurs on Saturdays. Visitors MUST check in 15 minutes prior to the beginning of the scheduled visiting hour. The scheduled visiting hours are as follows:
An inmate is limited to one 15-minute visit. Multiple visitors (up to 4) must meet with the inmate together - no separate visits.
