Help Needed in Locating Purse Snatcher - Sgt. Lesley Hill
Sheriff Craig Webre is asking for the public’s help in finding a man who stole purses from two women who minister to local residents. The Jehovah Witnesses were visiting a woman on Williams Street in late June when Tray “Mouse” Howard (B/M, DOB 12/22/1992, 215 Williams Street, Raceland) approached their vehicle, then reached into the rear window and snatched the purses.
A young woman brought the purses back to the two women, but Howard made off with $470 in cash. Judge Hugh Larose has issued an arrest warrant in the case. If you know where Howard is, you’re asked to call Crimestoppers at 1-800-743-7433. You don’t have to give your name and you could be eligible for a cash reward.
