Hunter Safety Course Rescheduled - Sgt. Lesley Hill
 
The Hunter Safety Course previously scheduled for July 24-25, 2010 that was cancelled due to the threat of Tropical Storm Bonnie, has been rescheduled. Sheriff Craig Webre invites interested parties to attend the classes now planned for Saturday August 14th and Sunday August 15th.

Saturday’s session will begin at 8:00 AM and continue to 5:00 PM at the Lafourche Parish Sheriff’s Office Training Academy located at 751 Goode Street in Thibodaux. Please plan on bringing a bag lunch for this day (August 14th).

The second day, class will move to the LPSO Shooting Range at 3451 Hwy 182 in Raceland from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Participants must attend both class days, be at least 10 years old and pass a written and practical exam to be certified.
