The Lafourche Sheriff's Regional P.O.S.T.
Academy is responsible for basic law
enforcement training for new law enforcement
officers. Lesson plans must meet the
requirements of the Louisiana POST Council.
The Training Staff spends many hours
preparing and updating lesson plans and
scheduling training classes and instructors.

The Lafourche Parish Sheriff's Office has
opened its firing range to the general
public. Anyone who likes to shoot guns,
(hunters, firearm enthusiasts), can now fire
their weapons on a safe, legal, controlled
environment. |
