Assumption Parish Fugitive Found in Possession of Cocaine and MDMA

Sheriff Craig Webre announced a Napoleonville man wanted in Assumption Parish was arrested following a traffic stop in Thibodaux. Tyrone Fair Jr. (24, B/M) is now also facing drug charges in Lafourche Parish after he was caught with cocaine and MDMA.
 
At around 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 5, deputies traveling on St. Mary Street in Thibodaux initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle with only one working headlight. Deputies identified the driver as Tyrone Fair Jr. and learned he had active warrants for his arrest in Assumption Parish for Aggravated Assault with a Firearm and Criminal Damage to Property. Fair was found to have several small bags containing over 15 grams of suspected cocaine and 100 tablets of suspected MDMA.
 
Fair was charged with Possession with Intent to Distribute Cocaine, Possession with Intent to Distribute MDMA, and no headlight. He was transported to the Lafourche Parish Detention Center in Thibodaux where he was booked on those charges and as a fugitive of Assumption Parish. He is being held in lieu of $20,050 bond in Lafourche, and he is also being held for the Assumption Parish Sheriff’s Office and Louisiana Probation and Parole.
