Dupre eventually crashed into a ditch near LA Highway 657. He then exited the vehicle and attempted to flee on foot, but he was quickly apprehended by deputies. Dupre was transported to the Lafourche Parish Detention Center in Thibodaux. He was booked on the outstanding warrant for Second Degree Battery, as well as additional charges for Aggravated Flight from an Officer, Possession of an Alcoholic Beverage in a Motor Vehicle.
