Sheriff Craig Webre announced the arrest of Raekwon Arcement (age 19) and Tireke Johnson (age 17), both of Thibodaux, for allegedly robbing another man on Wednesday, April 27. Just after 3 p.m. on Wednesday, deputies responded to a residence in the 400 block of Karla Drive in Thibodaux in reference to a robbery. Through investigation, deputies learned Arcement and Johnson were at the residence when a third man arrived and a verbal altercation ensued. At that point, Arcement and Johnson both grabbed the man and began striking him. Arcement then allegedly took the victim’s wallet and money and fled the scene with Johnson. Deputies made contact with Arcement and Johnson and questioned them about the incident. Following questioning, both were arrested for Simple Robbery. Each was transported to the Lafourche Parish Detention Center and booked accordingly. Bond is set at $10,000 each.
