Sheriff Craig Webre announced the arrest of Jordon Molaison (age 21) of Thibodaux for stealing a school bus Tuesday morning and driving the bus while intoxicated.

At around 6 a.m. on Tuesday, May 3, deputies responded to a Chackbay residence in reference to a stolen school bus. A female bus driver had awoken Tuesday morning to find her bus missing. While en route to the residence, deputies observed the bus traveling westbound on LA Highway 20 and initiated a traffic stop. Thibodaux Police were also called to the scene for assistance. Deputies made contact with the driver who was identified as Jordon Molaison.
