Several Thousand Dollars of Property Stolen in Bayou Blue Burglary

Lafourche Parish Sheriff Craig Webre announced a reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest of the person or persons responsible for the burglary of a mobile home and a shed in Bayou Blue wherein several thousand dollars of property was stolen.

On Thursday morning, July 6, deputies and detectives responded to a complaint of a burglary in the 100 block of Bayou Blue Road. A resident reported that his mobile home and a shed were burglarized. Investigators discovered signs of forced entry into both structures. They also discovered motion-sensor lights had been damaged and wires to security cameras had been cut. Several items of value were stolen, including a covered trailer, an all-terrain vehicle, an outboard motor, a pressure washer, a shotgun, a crossbow, fishing rods and reels, various tools, and other items. The resident had last been at the property on Friday, June 30, and so, the residence and shed were burglarized at some point between that time and Thursday morning.
