Lafourche Parish Sheriff Craig Webre announced a Thibodaux man is wanted for molestation of a juvenile. A no bond warrant has been issued for Gustavo Melgares (age 32) of Thibodaux.

On the afternoon of Friday, October 13, juvenile detectives opened an investigation in reference to an allegation of the molestation of a child under the age of 13 by Melgares. Following an investigation into the matter, detectives obtained a warrant for his arrest.

Detectives are asking for the public’s help to locate Gustavo Melgares. It is believed he may be in the Houma area in Terrebonne Parish.
