Hundreds of Items Stolen in Larose Shipyard Burglary

Lafourche Parish Sheriff Craig Webre announced a reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest of the person or persons responsible for a burglary at a Larose shipyard.

At some time between June 8-11, 2018, one or more subjects entered a warehouse at a shipyard in Larose. Several hundred items were stolen in the burglary, most of which were electrical breakers and threaded brass pipe fittings for marine vessels, but similar to those used in homes.

Anyone who has come into contact with a large supply of marine electrical equipment or anyone who may have any information about this crime is asked to submit a tip anonymously through Crime Stoppers Bayou Region by phone at 1-800-743-7433 or online at www.crimestoppersbr.org. Tips can also be submitted using the P3 Tips app on your mobile device. Tipsters could be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000 in cash if the information leads to an arrest.
