UPDATE: Victim Identified in Weekend Shooting in Raceland

Lafourche Parish Sheriff Craig Webre initially reported that on Saturday, August 25, 2018, that deputies were called to respond to reports of a shooting just after 2 AM, in the 200 block of Williams Street in Raceland, LA. Upon arrival, deputies located the male victim, Timon Nash, 38, who had died due to several gunshot wounds to his body.

Further investigation revealed that the victim had been involved in a shooting altercation one day prior wherein he had been struck in the forearm.

This investigation is ongoing, but to date, no suspects have been named.  Again, anyone with information on this case is asked to submit a tip anonymously through Crime Stopper Bayou Region by phone at 1-800-743-7433 or online at www.crimestoppersbr.org.  Tips can also be submitted by using the P3 Tips app on your mobile device.  Tipsters could be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.00 in cash if the info9rmation leads to an arrest.
