Further investigation revealed a 16-year-old male was traveling with them in the truck to Morgan City.

During questioning by Lafourche Parish Sheriff’s Office investigators, Dupre had to be hospitalized for treatment on an unrelated matter. He was released from the hospital on Thursday, May 23, and he was booked into the Lafourche Parish Correctional Complex on the charge of Second Degree Murder. His bail is set at $1 million.
