Lafourche Parish Sheriff Craig Webre announced detectives are investigating attempted vehicle burglaries that occurred in the Raceland area early Sunday morning.

During the early morning hours of December 29, 2019, a surveillance camera captured images of two suspects pulling on door handles on vehicles at a residence on Leona Drive. In a separate investigation, another male suspect was caught on camera attempting to burglarize a vehicle on Aspen Drive in Raceland.

Anyone who can identify the suspects or anyone with information on these crimes is asked to submit a tip anonymously through Crime Stoppers Bayou Region by phone at 1-800-743-7433 or online at www.crimestoppersbr.org. Tips can also be submitted using the P3 Tips app on your mobile device. Tipsters could be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000 in cash if the information leads to an arrest.
