Please contact the Lafourche Parish Correctional Complex at (985) 449-4458 for visiting hours/days.

An inmate is limited to one 15-minute visit. Multiple visitors (up to 4) must meet with the inmate together – no separate visits.

A visitor’s name must appear on the visitation list for that inmate. All visitors must have valid identification and must be at least 17 years old, or have proper approval. No children are allowed in the jail during normal visitation hours unless authorized by the Warden or his designee.

Visitors must comply with a dress code that includes no short skirts or shorts, no sleeveless shirts/blouses, no tank tops, no low-cut blouses, no pants below the waist, and no see-through clothing.

Special visits and Child visits are set up and approved by the Jail Administration.

Visitors who have been previously incarcerated must wait 120 days after release before they are allowed to visit an inmate.

Visitors cannot bring any packages (items) to deliver to an inmate. Visitors can bring cash or a money order for the inmate, which can also be delivered at any other time outside of visitation hours. Money orders and correspondence (letters) can be sent to inmates through the mail, but packages and cash cannot be mailed. All mail must contain the sender’s full name and be addressed using the inmate’s full name along with the following address:
