Two Sought for Theft at Thibodaux Casino

Sheriff Craig Webre is asking for the public’s assistance in helping detectives identify two suspects wanted in connection to a theft at a Thibodaux Casino during the early morning hours of Sunday, May 29.

Through investigation, detectives learned two unidentified male subjects entered the casino early Sunday morning, and one of the men tampered with a video poker machine, while the other acted as a lookout. The men stole several hundred dollars in cash from the machine’s cash box before leaving the casino. Both suspects and the crime itself were captured on surveillance cameras. Detectives say the suspects are believed to be white males in their 30s, and they may have been driving a gray or silver-colored sedan.

Detectives are asking for the public’s help to solve this crime.
