Lafourche Parish Sheriff Craig Webre is asking for the public’s help to identify two men wanted for a string of vehicle burglaries in Bourg.

In late September 2019, detectives began investigating several vehicle burglaries that occurred in the Bourg area. In one incident, two male subjects attempted to burglarize a vehicle in the 100 block of Matherne Street at a residence equipped with surveillance cameras. The cameras captured video of the subjects attempting to open the vehicle by lifting the door handles.

Detectives are asking for the public’s help in this case. Anyone who can identify these men is asked to submit a tip anonymously through Crime Stoppers Bayou Region by phone at 1-800-743-7433 or online at www.crimestoppersbr.org. Tips can also be submitted using the P3 Tips app on your mobile device. Tipsters could be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000 in cash if the information leads to an arrest.
