Lafourche Parish Sheriff Craig Webre announced a Thibodaux man has been arrested for sex crimes involving a juvenile. Gregory Leblanc, 61, faces multiple charges.

Last month, juvenile detectives began investigating Leblanc after allegations surfaced about inappropriate behavior with a female that had occurred several years prior when she was a young child. They also found evidence of inappropriate photographs of the child apparently taken without the child’s knowledge, among other evidence. Following an investigation, they obtained a warrant for his arrest.

On July 24, 2026, Leblanc was arrested and booked into the Lafourche Parish Correctional Complex. He was charged with 11 counts of indecent behavior with a juvenile, four counts of video voyeurism, two counts of pornography involving a juvenile, and molestation of a juvenile. Bail is set at $600,000.
