Lafourche Parish Sheriff Craig Webre announced the arrest of Perry McMillon (age 18) of Raceland on Monday, August 24. McMillon, a convicted felon, was found illegally carrying a firearm, and he had several active warrants out of Terrebonne Parish.

At around 4:45 p.m. on Monday, April 24, deputies observed a man, later identified as McMillon, and a small child riding an all-terrain vehicle on the roadway near the intersection of St. Phillip Street and Meadow Lane in Raceland. Deputies conducted a stop of the vehicle and made contact with McMillon. Deputies noticed a bulge in the area of McMillon’s waistband and told him to place his hands on the vehicle. As deputies attempted to grab his hands, McMillon began to flee on foot. Deputies pursued but eventually lost sight of him. A short time later, deputies located McMillon hiding in an SUV nearby, and he was taken into custody.

Deputies learned McMillon had active warrants in Terrebonne Parish and for Louisiana Probation and Parole. McMillon was charged with Possession of a Firearm/Carrying of a Concealed Weapon by a Convicted Felon, Child Desertion, Resisting an Officer, and operating an off-road vehicle on a roadway. His bond on those charges is set at $11,600. McMillon was also booked as a fugitive of Terrebonne Parish due to outstanding warrants for 17 counts of Simple Burglary and one count of attempted Simple Burglary. He is additionally being held for Louisiana Probation and Parole due to a probation violation.

Lafourche Parish Sheriff Craig Webre announced the arrest of Marcus Lochrico (age 27) of Galliano on Friday, April 21.

Just before 1 a.m. on Friday, narcotics agents and a K-9 deputy conducted a traffic stop on an SUV traveling southbound on LA 308 in Lockport. Agents made contact with the driver, identified him as Marcus Lochrico, and observed two passengers, including a child. Agents detected the odor of marijuana coming from inside the vehicle, and the K-9 unit on scene alerted to the possible presence of narcotics inside the vehicle. Upon searching the vehicle, deputies discovered over 67 grams of suspected marijuana, a digital scale, several Hydrocodone pills, a small amount of suspected cocaine, and various drug paraphernalia. When asked about the items, Lochrico admitted everything belonged to him.

Lochrico was arrested and charged with Possession of Cocaine, Hydrocodone, and Drug Paraphernalia, as well as Possession with Intent to Distribute Marijuana, Illegal Use of a Controlled Dangerous Substance in the Presence of Persons Under 17 Years Old, and improper lane usage. He was transported to the Lafourche Parish Detention Center in Thibodaux for booking. There, correctional officers discovered he was in possession of a small amount of marijuana. He was additionally charged with Possession of Marijuana and Taking Contraband to a Penal Institution. He was released Friday night after posting $19,600 bond.

Lafourche Parish Sheriff Craig Webre announced Bart Howes (age 33) of Raceland man has been charged for damaging an air conditioning unit at a Raceland pharmacy. Detectives received multiple anonymous tips through Crime Stoppers Bayou Region identifying Howes as the suspect.

The incident occurred at Raceland Pharmacy Express on Monday, April 10. Detectives obtained surveillance video which showed a male subject, later identified as Howes, ride up to the side of the building on a bicycle. The video showed Howes tampering with the air conditioning unit before fleeing the scene. In doing so, he caused damage to the air conditioning unit.

Detectives made contact with Howes on Thursday, April 20, and he admitted to his involvement in the crime. He was issued a criminal summons for Simple Criminal Damage to Property.

Lafourche Parish Sheriff Craig Webre announced a third suspect has been charged with attempted murder in connection with a shooting which took place in Larose on April 4. Leah Chiasson (age 34) of Larose was arrested Friday, April 21. Laquindin Randle (age 20) and Travonta Caine (age 21), both of Larose, were previously charged with attempted murder in the incident.

At around 12:15 a.m. on Tuesday, April 4, the Lafourche Parish Sheriff’s Office received a call in reference to a shooting in the Larose area wherein a bullet grazed a male subject in the head. The victim was airlifted to University Hospital in New Orleans where he was treated and released that same day. Detectives discovered the male victim was traveling as a passenger in a vehicle driven by a Leah Chiasson. As they rode down East 23rd Street in Larose, two male subjects, one of whom was armed with a handgun, approached the vehicle and ordered them to get out. Those subjects were later identified as Laquindin Randle and Travonta Caine. They forcefully removed Chiasson and the male victim from the vehicle, and Caine allegedly punched the male victim. Randle and Caine then fled on foot, but in doing so, Randle fired two rounds at the male victim, one of which grazed his head. Randle was arrested on April 8, and Caine turned himself over to detectives on April 10. They were both booked into the Lafourche Parish Detention Center with Attempted First Degree Murder, and the bond for each was set at $100,000.

Through further investigation into the incident, detectives discovered that Chiasson had been contacted by the other suspects earlier in the day and helped agreed to drive the male victim to the location knowing the suspects planned to attack him. During questioning, Chiasson admitted to her involvement. She was arrested Friday and booked with Attempted First Degree Murder. Her bond is set at $50,000.

Lafourche Parish Sheriff Craig Webre announced the arrest of John Gisclair (age 17) of Bayou Blue on Thursday, April 20. On April 11, juvenile detectives opened an investigation after deputies responded to a complaint of indecent behavior with juveniles in Bayou Blue. Through investigation, juvenile detectives learned Gisclair had allegedly exposed himself to two minor children under the age of 15. Detectives made contact with Gisclair on Thursday, April 20, but he refused to cooperate with the investigation. He was arrested and transported to the Lafourche Parish Detention Center and booked with two counts of Indecent Behavior with Juveniles. His bond is set at $25,000.

Lafourche Parish Sheriff Craig Webre announced that a man wanted in connection with an armed robbery in Larose is now in custody. Leonard Evans Jr. (age 24) of Larose was arrested Wednesday and also faces additional charges stemming from the arrest. Deputies had previously arrested Jasmaine Caine (age 27) of Larose in connection with the case.

On December 16, 2016, Caine and Evans forced their way into a residence on East 18th Street in Larose and demanded money from a woman inside. While armed with a handgun, Evans allegedly forced the victim into a bedroom where he fired a single round which struck a mattress. Caine then stole several hundred dollars in cash from the victim, and both fled the scene. Through investigation, detectives identified Caine and Evans as the suspects and obtained arrest warrants.

Caine was arrested on December 21, 2016, and deputies found her to have cocaine, crack cocaine and clonazepam in her possession. She was charged accordingly and remains at the Lafourche Parish Detention Center.

On Wednesday, April 19, deputies had obtained information about Evans’ whereabouts. With assistance from the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force, deputies proceeded to a residence on East 23^rd Street where Evans was located and taken into custody. He was found to be in possession of crack cocaine. He was transported to the Lafourche Parish Detention Center where he was booked with Armed Robbery, Armed Robbery with Use of a Firearm, Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon, Possession of Crack Cocaine, and three counts of Contempt of Court. His bond is set at $257,100, and he is also being held for Louisiana Probation and Parole.

Lafourche Parish Sheriff Craig Webre announced two people have been arrested cfor stealing from a Thibodaux business. Tommy Richard Jr. (age 24) and Sonny Keplinger (age 24), both of Schriever, were arrested on Tuesday, April 18.

On Monday, April 17, deputies responded to a place of business on Burma Road in Thibodaux in reference to items being stolen. Upon reviewing video surveillance footage, deputies discovered that on Thursday, April 13, two subjects identified as Richard and Keplinger stole several items from the business which had a total value of nearly $3,000. Following the investigation, deputies obtained arrest warrants for both Richard and Keplinger for Unauthorized Entry of a Place of Business and Felony Theft of Goods.

Keplinger and Richard were both arrested Tuesday in Terrebonne Parish. Richard was transferred to the Lafourche Parish Detention Center later that day. He was booked on the aforementioned warrants, and he was also booked on an outstanding warrant for Contempt of court. His bond is set at $9,000. Keplinger also faced an additional Contempt of Court charge in Terrebonne Parish. She remained there until posting bond on charges for both parishes on Thursday, April 20.

Lafourche Parish Sheriff Craig Webre announced three men were arrested in connection to a residential burglary. Jordon Molaison (age 22), Luis Pedraja (age 29), and Paul Wyman Jr. (age 19), all of Thibodaux, each faces charges stemming from the incident.

On April 5, deputies responded to a report of several hundred dollars of items stolen from a residence located in the 900 block of LA Highway 20 in Thibodaux. The items were valued at several hundred dollars and included audio equipment and a nail gun. Detectives began an investigation and initially developed Molaison as a suspect in the burglary. Through investigation, detectives learned Molaison had sold the stolen equipment to another man with Wyman’s assistance, they obtained arrest warrants for each. As detectives continued their investigation, they also learned Pedraja assisted Molaison with the burglary, and they obtained additional warrants for each.

Molaison was already in jail due to being arrested on April 7 for five contempt warrants. He was booked on the additional warrants for Simple Burglary and Illegal Possession of Stolen Things, and his bond is currently set at $115,000.

Detectives made contact with Wyman on April 11, and he admitted to his involvement. He was arrested and charged with Illegal Possession of Stolen Things. He booked into the Lafourche Parish Detention Center and released the same day after posting $1,000 bond.

Detectives made contact with Pedraja on Wednesday, April 19, and he was taken into custody. He was booked into the Detention Center with Simple Burglary, and his bond is set at $50,000.
