Search Warrant for Cut Off Residence Results in Drug and Firearm Arrests

Lafourche Parish Sheriff Craig Webre announced two people were arrested after narcotics agents found drugs and firearms at a Cut Off residence Thursday morning. Shelly Adams, 44, and Aaron Brown, 41, both of Cut Off, were arrested. 

Narcotics agents had been investigating Shelly Adams for her involvement with the use and sale of illegal narcotics. During the course of the investigation, agents secured an arrest warrant for Adams for the distribution of methamphetamine as well as a search warrant for her home on West 103rd Street in Cut Off.

On April 30, 2026, investigators executed the search warrant at Adams’ residence. They recovered methamphetamine, marijuana, drug paraphernalia, and two firearms. Two juveniles were present in the residence at the time of the operation and were released into the care of family members.

Adams and Brown were both arrested and booked into the Lafourche Parish Correctional Complex on charges including possession with the intent to distribute methamphetamine and possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. They were also charged with one count each of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, possession of a firearm in the presence of drugs, and possession of drugs in the presence of a juvenile. A third person, Diego Adams, 19, was issued a criminal summons for possession of drug paraphernalia.

The bail amount for Brown was set at $118,000. Adams’ bail was set at $138,000, and she is also being held for Louisiana Probation and Parole.
