Public’s Help Sought in Raceland Shooting Investigation

Lafourche Parish Sheriff Craig Webre is asking for the public’s help in an investigation into a Raceland shooting incident. 

At around 8 p.m. on April 25, 2026, deputies responded to a call of a shooting in the area of Brocato Lane in Raceland. One person was injured in a shooting. No arrests have been made.

Detectives are asking for the public’s help to solve this crime. Anyone with any information on any of this incident can submit a tip anonymously to Bayou Region Crime Stoppers by phone at 1-800-743-7433, online at CrimeStoppersBR.org, or via the Bayou Tips app on mobile devices. Tips submitted through Crime Stoppers could lead to a reward of up to $1,000.00 in cash if the information leads to an arrest.
