Two Arrested in Snowball Trailer Theft

Lafourche Parish Sheriff Craig Webre announced two people have been arrested in connection with the theft of a trailer from a local snowball business. Ronald Perkins, 48, and Quiana Washington, 48, both of New Orleans, were arrested on Wednesday. 

Detectives had been investigating the theft of a trailer belonging to “Icy-Licious Snowballs,” a local small business. The theft occurred in the 14000 block of West Main Street in Cut Off in the early morning hours of July 13, 2026. Through investigation, and with assistance from the New Orleans Police Department and St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office, detectives identified Washington and Perkins as suspects in the theft. Both were taken into custody in New Orleans on Wednesday. New Orleans Police located the stolen trailer in New Orleans East. Detectives obtained arrest warrants for both. 

Perkins and Washington were booked into the Orleans Parish Prison on the warrants. They await transfer to the Lafourche Parish Correctional Complex where they will each be booked on one count of felony theft. Bail is set at $100,000 for Perkins and $50,000 for Washington.
