Lafourche Parish Sheriff Craig Webre and Golden Meadow Chief of Police Michelle Lafont announced the arrest of an 18-year-old for the attempted murder of two relatives. Airron Billiot, 18, of Galliano, was arrested Tuesday night following a stabbing incident at a Golden Meadow residence.
At around 10:20 p.m. on November 4, 2025, LPSO deputies and officers with the Golden Meadow Police Department responded to a domestic incident at a residence on North 2nd Street. Billiot was reportedly armed with a knife and was attacking family members. When officers arrived, they located Billiot, who surrendered and was immediately taken into custody. They found two women – one in her 60s and one in her 30s – who each had a knife wound in the neck. Both were transported to the hospital for treatment.
Through investigation, detectives learned Billiot had been involved in a disturbance with family members throughout the day. At one point, Billiot reportedly threatened to kill everyone in the house. He allegedly armed himself with a knife and struck each of the women in the neck. During questioning, Billiot admitted to his involvement.
Billiot was arrested for two counts of attempted second degree murder. He was booked into the Lafourche Parish Correctional Complex in Thibodaux. Bail is set at $500,000.
