Lafourche Parish Sheriff Craig Webre announced a Georgia man has been arrested for soliciting a Lafourche Parish teenage girl for sexually explicit photos and videos. Robert Itter, 69, of Rossville, Georgia, faces multiple sex offenses following the investigation.

Earlier this year, detectives began an investigation after learning a 15-year-old girl from Galliano had been messaging adult males on Snapchat. They learned she had also sent and received sexually explicit messages, photos and videos. After a thorough investigation which involved a forensic download of the girl’s cell phone and search warrants for Snapchat and email accounts, detectives developed Itter as a suspect. Detectives learned explicit content was allegedly sent and received after the girl disclosed her age to Itter. Detectives obtained a warrant for Itter’s arrest and additional search warrants for his home.

With the assistance of the Walker County Sheriff’s Office in Georgia, Itter was taken into custody on December 8, 2025. He was extradited to Louisiana and transported to the Lafourche Parish Correctional Complex on January 2, 2026. He was booked on two counts of computer-aided solicitation for sexual purposes, 12 counts of pornography involving juveniles, and 13 counts of indecent behavior with juveniles. Bail is set at $150,000.
