Sheriff Webre Announces Plans for Click It Or Ticket Campaign

Sheriff Craig Webre announced the Lafourche Parish Sheriff’s Office is joining other local law enforcement agencies in participating in the Click It or Ticket campaign which began May 19 and continues through June 1, 2025. The campaign is coordinated and funded by the Louisiana Highway Safety Commission and the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.

Additional deputies will be assigned to saturated patrol efforts in conjunction with the campaign. Deputies will be checking motorists for proper seat belt and safety seat use, as well as other violations.

Click It or Ticket is a seat belt enforcement campaign aimed at increasing the national seat belt usage rate. Louisiana’s seat belt usage rate for 2024 was 85.2%, which is below the national rate of 91.2%.

Three Charged as Part of Narcotics Investigation

Lafourche Parish Sheriff Craig Webre announced three people have been charged in a narcotics investigation. Lusiana Villagrana, 40, of Thibodaux, Tate Allemand, 40, of Broussard, and Mariah Lebouef, 28, of Baton Rouge, each face charges as a result of the investigation.

For the past several months, narcotics agents have been investigating Villagrana and her reported involvement in selling narcotics. During the course of the investigation, the obtained a warrant for meth distribution and a search warrant for her residence. Last week, agents went to her residence to conduct the search and made contact with her. She was arrested and found to be in possession of meth, marijuana, Schedule V drugs, and drug paraphernalia. Allemand and Lebouef were also at the residence and found to be in possession of drugs as well.

Villagrana was arrested and booked into the Lafourche Parish Correctional Complex on the warrant for meth distribution. She was additionally charged with possession with intent to distribute meth, as well as possession of marijuana, Schedule V narcotics, and drug paraphernalia. Bail is set at $106,000.

Allemand was also booked into the Correction Complex. He was charged with possession with intent to distribute meth and marijuana as well as possession of drug paraphernalia. His bail is set at $75,500.

Lebouef was issued a misdemeanor summons as she was charged for possession of marijuana.

DWI Checkpoint Slated for May 16, 2025

Sheriff Craig Webre announced the Lafourche Parish Sheriff’s Office will conduct a DWI checkpoint in Lafourche Parish. The checkpoint will begin on the evening of Friday, May 16, 2025, and will continue into the early morning hours of Saturday, May 17. During the checkpoint, deputies will be looking for drivers who are possibly impaired while checking for other traffic safety issues. These checkpoints are designed to help raise awareness for these types of violations and make the highways of the parish safer for all motorists.

Rape Aggression Defense Course Scheduled for May in Thibodaux

Sheriff Craig Webre announced the Lafourche Parish Sheriff’s Office will host a Rape Aggression Defense (R.A.D.) course on May 27-29, 2025, at the LPSO Law Enforcement Complex, located at 1300 Lynn Street in Thibodaux.

This self-defense course designed for women will take place over three days. The class will begin at 6 p.m. and end around 9:30 p.m. each day. Participants must attend all three days. Course instruction will be provided by certified R.A.D. instructors from the Lafourche Parish Sheriff’s Office.

The cost of the course is $10 to cover the cost of course materials and is non-refundable. Class size is limited, and advance registration is required. You can register and pay for the course online at www.LPSO.net/classes. The class registration deadline is May 22, 2025, at 11 a.m.

One Arrested, One Sought for Sex Crimes Involving a Juvenile

Lafourche Parish Sheriff Craig Webre announced one person has been arrested and another is being sought in connection to sex crimes involving a juvenile. Lauren Comadelle, 23, of Paradis was arrested on Wednesday. A warrant has been issued for her boyfriend, David Naquin III, 25, of Chauvin.

Through investigation, juvenile investigators found Comardelle and Naquin had allegedly committed lewd and lascivious acts involving a juvenile. Following the investigation, they obtained arrest warrants for both.

Comardelle was arrested on April 30, 2025, and booked into the Lafourche Parish Correctional Complex. She is charged with indecent behavior with a juvenile. Bail is set at $50,000.

Naquin is wanted for indecent behavior with a juvenile, and he has an outstanding warrant for contempt of court related to a prior domestic battery charge. Oregon Woman Arrested in Case Involving Runaway Thibodaux Teen

Lafourche Parish Sheriff Craig Webre announced an Oregon woman has been arrested as part of an investigation into a runaway teen from Thibodaux. Roxanne Mocaby, 41, of Redmond, Oregon, has been arrested by authorities in Oregon.

On April 20, 2025, deputies responded to a Burma Road residence in Thibodaux regarding a 16-year-old male who reportedly ran away from home, leaving his electronic devices at home. Through investigation, detectives learned the boy had been in contact with a teenage girl from Oregon on Snapchat. They learned he had told the girl he no longer wanted to live with his adoptive family and planned for the girl and her mother to pick him up. Investigators tracked the girl’s phone back to Oregon and contacted local authorities. Oregon State Police located their vehicle and conducted a traffic stop, identifying the occupants as Mocaby and the two teens. During questioning, Mocaby admitted to knowledge of the situation and her involvement.

Mocaby was arrested and booked into the Harney County Jail on a Lafourche Parish warrant for simple kidnapping and contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile. She remains in Oregon awaiting extradition to Lafourche Parish. Bail is set at $50,000.

MISSING PERSON: Denise Millien

UPDATE: Millien has been found and is safe. 

 

Lafourche Parish Sheriff Craig Webre is asking for the public’s help in locating 51-year-old Denise Millien of St. Marie Drive in Bayou Blue. She was last seen at her residence between the hours of 2 a.m. and 5 a.m. on April 27, 2025.

Millien suffers from mental health issues. She is described as 5’9″ tall, weighing approximately 265 pounds with black hair. Anyone with information on her whereabouts is asked to call the Lafourche Parish Sheriff’s Office at (985) 532-2808, or simply dial 911.

RUNAWAY TEEN: Camilla Prine

Lafourche Parish Sheriff Craig Webre is asking for the public’s help to locate 15-year-old Camilla Prine of Jacey Drive in Thibodaux. She was last seen at her home at around 8 a.m. on April 25, 2025. She is described as 5’5″ and 110 pounds with hair dyed pink, and her nose is pierced. She was possibly wearing a plain black sweatshirt with either white sweatpants or black shorts, and she was wearing black Nike shoes. Anyone with information on her whereabouts is asked to call the Lafourche Parish Sheriff’s Office at (985) 532-2808, or simply dial 911.

Vehicle Burglary Investigation Leads to Arrest of Two Fugitives, Including One Wanted in Four States

Lafourche Parish Sheriff Craig Webre announced two people have been arrested in connection with a vehicle burglary investigation. Tedgrick Montgomery Jr., 29, of South Carolina and Sandy Palmer, 40, of Michigan were arrested in Baton Rouge on Thursday. Montgomery has outstanding warrants for several Louisiana parishes and in three other states.

Just before 6 a.m. on Thursday, April 24, deputies and detectives responded to a fitness center in Raceland in reference to several vehicles being burglarized in the parking lot of the business. Some of the vehicles had broken windows due to forced entry. The male suspect was driving a black SUV, and was under investigation for other burglaries in the parishes of Terrebonne and Livingston.

In working with area law enforcement in multiple parishes, detectives located the vehicle in the Baton Rouge area. Baton Rouge Police conducted a traffic stop and identified Montgomery and Palmer as the occupants of the vehicle. During a search of the vehicle, investigators located evidence from burglaries in three parishes. Further investigation revealed Palmer attempted to cash stolen checks in the New Orleans and Gonzales areas, and she was in possession of several other blank checks. Both were arrested and booked into the East Baton Rouge Parish Jail on warrants. They were subsequently transported to the Livingston Parish Detention Center and booked on warrants there.

Montgomery was booked on a warrant for simple burglary in Livingston Parish. Lafourche Parish Sheriff’s Office detectives obtained warrants for Montgomery for two counts of simple burglary of a vehicle, attempted simple burglary of a vehicle, and possession of tools for a crime. He also has pending charges in Lafourche for two counts each of bank fraud, identity theft and forgery. Montgomery also has outstanding warrants for Thibodaux Police and the Terrebonne Parish Sheriff’s Office, as well as in the states of South Carolina, Georgia and Florida.

Palmer was also booked with simple burglary in Livingston. In Lafourche Parish, she faces charges including two counts each of bank fraud, identity theft and forgery.

Sheriff Webre applauded the efforts of investigators in the case. “Our detectives did an outstanding job, not only in quickly developing the suspects in the case, but also in surveilling and tracking them across multiple jurisdictions,” said Sheriff Webre. “We hope this case sends a clear message to criminals to stay away from our parish. We will track you down, and you will be arrested!” Sheriff Webre also thanks all the agencies that partnered with LPSO on this investigation.

UPDATE: Two More Arrested in Ongoing Narcotics Investigation

Lafourche Parish Sheriff Craig Webre announced two more people have been arrested as part of an ongoing narcotics investigation which started in November 2024. Amber Stelly, 29, of Bayou Blue and Gianna Cadenas, 25, of Gray have been arrested in connection with the investigation. Bryan Wright, 50, of Gray and Richard Comardelle Jr., 48, of Larose were arrested as part of the investigation in February 2025.

In November 2024, narcotics agents opened an investigation into illegal narcotics sales in the central and south areas of Lafourche Parish. Agents identified multiple individuals and residences involved in drug sales and obtained several search warrants for residences, vehicles, electronic media and DNA. The searches have resulted in the seizure of a variety of narcotics and two firearms. Agents initially obtained arrest warrants for Wright and Comardelle, and they were arrested in February. Wright was charged with two counts of distribution of methamphetamine, possession with intent to distribute meth, carrying of a weapon in the presence of drugs, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, and possession of drug paraphernalia. He is being held without bond due to a revocation of parole. Comardelle was charged with distribution of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was released from the Lafourche Parish Correctional Complex after posting bail in the amount of $100,000.

As the investigation continued, agents also arrested Stelly on March 7, 2025, for possession of Valium. She was released the following day after posting $5,000 bail.

Agents had also obtained a warrant for meth distribution for Cardenas. She was arrested in Terrebonne Parish last week and transferred to Lafourche Parish. She was released on April 22 after posting bail in the amount of $50,000.
